Spring Cleaning - Extreme Conditions

Cosmetic Repairs, Maintenance, Technical Support

Here is a great example of what NOT to do with your fountain. This was left out all winter, with no protection. Thankfully it survived, with a crack or two, and some paint damage. With a bit of work, it can be saved.

Using dish soap and rag, wash bowl, pump, and connections. Check to see the small cracks hold water (they can be fixed with epoxy putty). In this case, even though it was left out in a Michigan winter with no protection, it still held water!

While it did not come out perfect, it was good enough to be able to still provide another season of enjoyment.
